Today, I took the proactive step of emailing all the potentially qualified law firms located in Twin Falls, Idaho – USA.

My intention is to thoroughly evaluate their expertise and credentials in order to select and retain the most suitable attorney.

I’m seeking someone who can not only provide expert guidance but also efficiently navigate and resolve the current legal challenge.

I hope this finds you well.

In my search for legal representation, your firm stood out due to your commendable track record and expertise.

With my own legal background and hands-on approach, I’m optimistic about the potential synergy we could achieve working together on a complex family litigation case.

If for any reason you’re not interested or don’t have the availability to take on this case, I would greatly appreciate any referrals or recommendations for colleagues who might be a good fit for this matter.

Here are the details and what I’m looking for.

Introduction

I am an individual with an honorary law degree with a successful track record of running a business and winning my own legal cases.

I am currently seeking experienced legal representation for a lawsuit against family members in the Powers v. Puka, if the Denise v. Janette case does not settle first.

While I have confidence in my legal abilities, the personal nature of this case and its complexities have led me to seek external counsel to ensure the best possible outcome.

Scope of Work

  1. Case Assessment: Initially, a comprehensive review of the case to determine its validity and potential for success.
  2. Case Management: Lead the case, managing all its intricacies and ensuring that the strategy aligns with the desired outcome.
  3. Court Procedures & Tactics: A deep familiarity with district court procedures is essential. Additionally, experience in handling aggressive and unorthodox tactics from opposing counsel will be crucial.
  4. Collaboration: While the chosen attorney will lead, I intend to remain hands-on, handling a majority of the research and documentation. In essence, the attorney will provide guidance, and I will execute the necessary tasks.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in district court cases.
  • A strong track record of wins in comparable cases.
  • Ability to handle potentially contentious opposing counsel.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively, guiding a proactive and involved client.

Timeline

  • November 28, 2023: Final notice sent to defendant.
  • December 7, 2023: Filing of necessary documents or actions if no response or satisfactory action is taken by the defendant’s attorney.

Compensation Structure

My preference is for a compensation structure that aligns our interests.

I propose a model wherein I provide significant effort as an “apprentice,” handling a majority of the research and documentation tasks.

In return, the attorney’s compensation would come primarily as a percentage of any settlements or awards.

The exact percentage and terms can be negotiated upon selection.

Proposal Submission Requirements

  1. A summary of relevant experience, especially in district court and cases of a similar nature.
  2. An outline of your proposed approach to this case.
  3. Any references or case studies that can provide insight into your track record.
  4. Proposed compensation structure, including any retainer fees or other upfront costs.
  5. Availability for an initial consultation.
